Meet Our Founder
Charlie Carr is a recognized leader in Owner-Driven BIM, facilities management, and digital twin creation. With over 23 years of experience in workflow design and efficiency adaptation, he has worked on projects valued at up to $400 million and helped manage a $2 billion+ government real estate portfolio.
He holds a degree in design and drafting and serves on multiple nonprofit boards, combining deep technical expertise with a genuine commitment to advancing the AECO industry. Charlie developed the plan and workflow for the first government agency on track to perform full facilities operations using Building Information Modeling.
Before his AECO career, Charlie simultaneously ran a 17-year career as a chef and multi-site restaurant operator while building an 11-year parallel career in brand management and advertising, executing regional Northwest campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Home Depot, Target, Best Buy, Microsoft, and Kroger among others, and leading the Northwest branding changeover for Nabisco (now MondelΔz International). Running both at the same time is baked into how BIMCzar operates.
